The first show of the year is about land, and the winter builds well under way for Spring Dub 2018. This indoor car show does not disappoint. Last year we saw insanely clean engine bays, super smooth euro style and a lot of laying frame from the air rides. Hosted at the Great Yorkshire Show Grounds on March 4th, with some epic countries road to you there. The heated indoor show is perfect no matter what the weather is outside.
With so many builds being kept under wraps I can’t wait for this year’s show and shine. Being a huge rat fan, I’m excited to see what mental cars have been rusting in the cold.
And it goes without saying but the Best Club Stand category is going to be highly contested. It’s always hard to make the call because it’s not about quantity when it comes to cars for me it’s the quality. But likewise, one good car does not make club stand. I do not envy the judges on this one.
If your anything like me, you’ll have a good wander around the trade stands. Always on the hunt for a new sticker or bargain for the motor. Plus the freebies are always a welcome site. They’ll have rare classic parts to the latest must-have gadgets all up for grabs.
Last year broke the record for VW and VAG club displays on the hard standing carparks. And it’s not too late to get your club involved to check out for more details:

Camping is can be fun even in March, honest. This is the only show where you can camp in your van under cover and they even supply electric hook-ups. Both caravan site and the sheds have the excellent shower and toilet blocks open 24hr. Which is after a heavy night camping a warm shower is a godsend.
